Finding and Using Labs

ScreeningChimp makes it easy for drivers and employees to complete their drug or alcohol tests at certified lab locations nationwide.

How to Find a Lab

1. Log into your dashboard
2. Open the test order for the driver
3. Click Find a Lab or view the lab information included with the authorization form
4. Choose the most convenient nearby location for the driver

In most cases, appointments are not required.

Sending the Driver to the Lab

After the test is ordered:

1. A barcode or authorization form will be generated automatically
2. Send the form to the driver by text or email
3. The driver should bring:
   • The barcode/authorization form
   • A valid CDL

The lab will use the barcode to access the test order and complete the collection process.

Important Tips

• Drivers should complete the test as soon as possible after receiving the authorization form
• Some lab locations may have specific operating hours, so checking availability in advance is recommended
• Using certified labs helps ensure accurate testing procedures and compliance with DOT and workplace safety requirements

Once the test is completed, updates and results will appear in your ScreeningChimp dashboard
